Winsor & Newton Gloss Varnish is a superior quality UV resistant artists’ gloss varnish, removable with artists’ white spirit or distilled turpentine. It is non-yellowing, and the varnish will not bloom or crack.
This varnish is perfect for achieving a glossy finish that will also provide a protective coat to your oil, alkyd and acrylic paintings. Do not apply it until your painting is completely dry. It should not be used as a medium.
