Winsor & Newton Aquapasto is a translucent gel medium that reduces flow and thickens watercolours and gouache to give an impasto effect. Mix with water-based colour to achieve a bodied effect that limits flow. It’ll be excellent for creating landscapes and other multi-coloured areas.

Squeeze the Aquapasto onto the palette and add just enough to the watercolour wash until the wash thickens. This will help you create unique special effects for all of your watercolour paintings.
